New audio circuit works

Paul from Visceral Psyche and I tested the new audio circuit today with four recording condenser microphone by turning all four 48 volt power on then recorded all four channel with his RED ONE and worked fine! We even operated it with the battery. No hiss, no hum. Great job RED!

Good stuff, is this on a newly shipped camera or on a older one sent back for the new audio board upgrade?

That's great news! There was a word around here, among Red afficionados and even the cons, that no matter how you liked the camera, people were unanimous (and especially sound pros) that the Audio in Red was very very good, if not amazing... Apparently, the monitoring via head jack is pretty mad... FYI

This was the newly shipped one. Other twos are out on a feature job for 40 days.

We recorded it and monitor it on multibridge pro and KRK Exposes ES8s.

We'll do real recording in a studio one day and post the clip.

Didn't check the headphone jack an hope it's improved then.
