Hey Guys,

Yesterday Jarred posted a link on Facebook to a new file sharing alternative called Copy. It works similar to Dropbox, but with better security and better features. If you sign up now you get 20GB of space free and can purchase as much space as you need (500GB = $149). You can purchase as much space as needed with no limit. There is also a Business plan for those interested in it from a company standpoint and not an individual user.

Check it out and sign up today for free space: https://copy.com?r=mcOQgf

As filmmakers, we're always sending media back and forth. I've used Dropbox and WeTransfer countless times, but I find this a much better alternative.

Did a register. But thinking of it now it would be better if redusers did not just register but sent you an pm instead so you could send an invite instead. Its better some one gets extra space than just register. So why not you. Thanks for sharing and hopefully you get some pm from nice redusers that want to boost you as thanks!

Cheers Matt

Hey Joel, Thanks I appreciate it. Actually the link gives us both the 5GB bonus so it works out! Thank you.

Don't worry. His link has his referral code in it :)

I've referred a bunch of people to this service today. I have the Desktop, Android and iOS client installed on various devices. It's every bit as good, if not better, than Dropbox and you get a lot more storage.

At the rate I'm going I think I can get up to at least 500GB of free cloud storage.

I've used it - or tried to - for a few months. It's terribly unreliable, and I've totally given up on trying to store/transfer large files via this service.

How long ago? Every review is positive and I haven't had any problems so far. Just uploaded a 50GB film without any issues...

When did you last use it? It's worked great for me so far. Uploading 10GB right now.

The last time I used it was about three weeks ago, and it was still the same buggy POS. Small files appeared to upload fine but never appeared in any directory, and large uploads (550GB in this case) finished only to restart from 0% immediately, never to complete the transfer. In the end I had to ask my client to put the files on a HDD and send it via courier.

Thanks Matt. I've just signed up with Copy.

No problem, glad you guys are on board. Maybe it will be easier to share R3D's now haha.

Don't forget to download the free Iphone or Android app version for your mobile devices so your able to sync, add, and send files from anywhere.
