In my opinion there is no elegant way (at this moment) to attach a handle and the 5.0" LCD at the same time on EPIC.
But if you own the sliding top handle (also part of the clutch) it has a rosette at the front.
Wouldn't it be great to have a rosette with a bracket (similar to the accessory attachement bracket only a little wider and less longer) that can hold the LCD in both directions. By this I mean when you stand behind the camera or when you use the LCD as an AC. Hope this makes sense.
I'm not a manufacturer. It was just an idea for a new Red accessory.

if you dont have Brooks/V top plate then you can try Wooden Camera's Easy Plate/EAsy Stick. should solve your probs. I could put the outrigger handle, and old RED top handle AND the LCD on at once with the Easy plate alone with no top cheeseplate.

What do you think about this setup?

Michael, I think it's perfect. I didn't thought about removing the rosette.

Thanks

Matthew: that is the bebob ML-120 mounted to the RED Backpack and connects with a plug into the power socket

Hudson: that is the 7'' monitor cable see here: http://www.red.com/store

Thanks Michael!

Small tip for those wanting to duplicate this setup: the rosette can be removed with an adjustable wrench, but if you wrap some electrical tape around the jaws first you avoid scratching the finish.
