Those are special cuts of the 8K Dragon VistaVision sensor. Has the full height of the VV sensor but in a 6:5 aspect ratio allowing for full coverage of anamorphic lenses.

This was revealed at Cinegear earlier this year (2016) It's a specialty cut from the Dragon sensor...

So actually... these should be less expensive than the full VV version of the 8K? Since normal shooting in 16:9 gives close to the same area as regular Dragon 6K? Or maybe 7K (not sure on the math left behind after the cut)?

Yes, the VVA is supposed to be cheaper than the full 8k VV. I've never asked my rep, so I don't know the actual price difference though.
