(SOLD) I have a Neumann RSM 190i-S Condenser Shotgun Stereo Microphone System with Rycote housing and sock for sale. $3300.This is the best microphone I have ever used, and I am the original owner.
Comes with the Neumann case, RSM 190i-S microphone, MTX 190i Matrix Amplifier, BS 48I-2 Power Supply,
15-foot, (4.5-m), microphone cable, connecting cables, LTM microphone support, and a Rycote Wind Cover, handle, and Windjammer sock. The whole system fits in the case as shown in the photos. This is a professional audio piece of equipment and is considered a reference for FX, cinema, studio and live recording.
The RSM 190i-S is a stereo microphone system consisting of the microphone, a BS 48I-2 power supply, and the MTX 190 matrix amplifier. It has an adjustable pick-up angle and high directivity. The microphone has two separate capsule systems, a hypercardioid element and a figure-8, both in a short shotgun. Together they generate the mid and the side signals. The matrix amplifier controls the width of the stereo image by changing the gain of the side signal relative to the middle signal in six 3 dB steps. The output signals of the matrix amplifier are either mid-side (MS) or left/right (XY). The signals are converted through transformerless sum-and-difference circuitry. The balanced, transformerless technology permits the use of long cables between the microphone, the matrix amplifier and the following mic input of other signal processing equipment.
