  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NETWORKS>>>>

You need to contact each network individually as many have differing requirements. Each will have a spec sheet they will email you.

Hate to sound like a debby downer, but it's not easy. Just sending in stuff almost never works. These are busy people. They don't check THAT email. Trust me. I produce promos for these people, I work with them every day. It's all about relationships. Most of the time they won't even ACCEPT content unless you go through an agent or a lawyer.

You can and should SEND IT IN.

But also be realistic and start to hunt down an agent. Pound the pavement. And get your content into festivals like the NYTVF. I'm a promo producer with quite a lot of access to programmers within a couple of networks (and even then its not easy, I'm always the "promo guy"). But getting my pilots into the NYTVF opened up a lot of extra doors...with agents, with new networks, and ironically...with my own clients who started to see me in a new way.

Anyway. It ain't easy. Perseverance is the name of the game. Good luck.
