  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Get some real info before jumping the Panic Button.

It does seem as though despite REDs attempt to re-educate and unlearn the market about the manufacturer-consumer relationship, some people are still conditioned by "the other players"..
 
Great news. Can you give us some aprox. price ranges on the big three?

i think things will settle down pretty quick. the vocal minority will feel better in a few days as more info gets out.

i'd agree with them, except that the arguments against Jim and co don't even seem terribly valid assuming they were accurate... which they're not.

oh well, back to waiting for my email confirmation...
 
I've been looking forward to the NAB surprises for the past few months. Today came and after being bombarded with so many surprises, I suddenly felt like i was punched in the stomach. While on the floor wondering what just happened, I hear a voice telling me to get up. It's Jim, pulling me back up encouraging me to stay on both feet.

Alright now, I'm listening.

Just ask the question. But people here don't ask first, they just assume the worst and hit the "Submit Reply" button.

It is pretty frustrating to come from the show, where everyone is happy, to reading so many posts that make negative assumptions from absolutely no info.

Do you think we went from doing everything from the customer's point of view... into thinking up devious ways to screw our customers overnight?

Sometimes this board makes me shake my head...

The temptation is big and you're becoming too much big in this industry. We do not want more Arris, Cookes, Zeiss, Sonys, Dalsas or whatever. Just you the same Jim, as usual. The same to who we have given all our support and financial contribution for this dream called RED ONE. It's our baby, the Nellies' baby too...

I put my hand up. I'm guilty I jumped to conclusions in the anticipation of this morning. I guess you guys are busy building new markets and we have too much internet time on our hands. still you have a passionate bunch of people. can't be all bad
