It's Sunday and I have everything I need to make Scarlet operational now, just got the side handle Friday, my lone source of control. So I am wondering if there is a kind sol who might share (and perhaps we can make a sticky for) that "force_config" preset setup that will switch the primary output, or whatever it does, so I can get access to menus from SDI output onto my TV Logic 5.6" ref monitor. Out of the box my Scarlet does not show menus from SDI, and it seems with only the side handle, there is no way to make them appear.
So I am also wondering if, once I get to the menu system, I will be able to create a preset on a side handle button that allows me to change that menu monitor back and forth, so I can have a clean feed when I want one.
I know the reps have been emailing the force config file to customers like me, but it is Sunday, and that file really should be more easily available anyway.

You need to file a support ticket at https://www.red.com/contact_us/new

It is illegal to share RED software.

Actually, as encouraged by the post below, if someone would care to share their own custom preset I could load using a "force_preset" folder, which would put a shortcut preset to switch menu output to the SDI, it would do the trick, and it's not illegal to share a file like that. Not sure why Red wouldn't just post such a file rather than deal with dozens of support tickets for people needing to get to a menu with their new cameras.

It has been a RED letter day, so to speak. Not only did I get some free legal advice, always appreciated, a very helpful RED Team member saw my post and contacted me personally via email on a Sunday, no less, and emailed the preset files I needed. And it worked, I now have menus. And what's even better, is that I applied a side handle button pre set to the menu output function. Now, I can push the "A" button three or four time, and it cycles through the menu output, allowing me to toggle menu on and clean feed out the SDI output. I am becoming a believer in Red's commitment to customer service!
