We will need night vision equipment for rental for a doc shoot. Both PL mount (for RED) and Canon EOS. Shoot will be late January. We will be staging out of San Diego or Tucson/Phoenix.

Please PM or email me: paul.lee 'at' 42productions.com

Thanks!

Just realized some people might think I was serious and might not want to rent gear to us if we were heading into the desert looking for a mythic creature! No, we are doing a very legitimate documentary,

if you shot 18-22 January (full moon), f/1.2 shoot be heaps for an MX.

True Pawel, very cool! Unfortunately we will be Jan 31+ so not enough of Mr. Moon.

Yes, Scott/Dean, I did talk to them. Do you have B4 to PL adapters?

Maybe these are dumb suggestions but if your having trouble finding what you want:

d3s possibly? Its practically night vision with a fast lens as long as you have some illumination.

Other (better?) idea;
For pure night vision- have a t2i or a 7d converted to IR and get a powerful IR light.

Its not very costly to convert a camera to IR and a quick google search will lead you to a few people that do it.

The lightpanel IR produces no visible light- according to their documentation. So yea, pretty discreet.

That's awesome! Unfortunately we cannot use IR and must use true night vision.

I've got a gen 1 setup in, fixed 85mm in PL contact me directly matt ( at ) mattuhry.com if you are interested. It's not very good quality, but could be changed to gen 2 and then I think it would be OK.

Not a good sales job there, Matt ;-)

I may get back to you once the project details settle. Thanks for your response!

@David- yup, already in touch with those guys, but thank you.
