Hello RED peeps,
I have a serious issue on a shoot I am that I need help in resolving. We are shooting a series of doc-style commercial spots right now in Wyoming and we basically need to get a transcription of all the interviews and b-roll to the client by the end of the day, so the system we had set up before on the previous round of these jobs is not quite working anymore.
Previously, after I offloaded the footage, I would dump it to a drive to give to our transcriptionist, which she would then watch in RED Cine, and transcribe all the footage, along with the corresponding timecode, which is one of the most important aspects, and which we are now having trouble with.
She is not able to get audio when viewing the footage in Red Cine now (the old version, not the new beta) and I am baffled as to why, since the audio is imbedded in the proxy files, but that does no good to us since she needs to see the timecode as well to transcribe.
Is there an easier way to do this, or does anyone know the reason why we are not getting the audio to play in Red Cine? Should she switch over to the new version of Red Cine if it can be able to show the timecode as she is viewing the footage.
Any help is VERY MUCH appreciated!
