Need to export in Portrait Mode

I shot some footage in Vertical Mode.
Now I need to Export the footage in Vertical mode as well.
I can not get it to that point:
In Framing Control I first set the clips to "90 deg Counter Clockwise" which turns all clips -90 deg.
Good.... but then the export; I tried "Rotate Based on Clip settings"
I tried to custom output Height 3840 Width 2160,
I tried Fit Height, Fit Width,
All the same, I get a Fat black border on top and bottom.
I must have overseen something....?

That should be fine -- just tried it myself. Are you applying a crop at all?

no crop - full size. But I use RCX 33.1
