well , we make flying platforms basicly and want to get a Scarlet into our flying rig.
its basicly a aircraft VTAL with 8 motors , it can lift 6 pounds and more.
but more weight is less flight time, so we want to get the best of all.
we allready do a lot for televison and commercials , since we are very flexible we can fly almost anywhere , where a full size cant go.
also no cranes needed on remote locations
heres a sample video : http://vimeo.com/26319519
this was shot with a sony HXR-50MCE until now it was for us the choice to use , but with new technical stuff we use we can lift now much more.
now we want to step up a bit i guess
what we need is also live vieuw from the ground.
now my questions :
live out can we connect somehow a analog transmittor , we dont want to drag convertors into the air
can we use power from our aircraft , instead of the heavy batter,s, we got 9 volts to 25 volts and over 16 amps.
can we use a remote to start and stop the recordings,if so can we do it with a electric signal (like a shutter cable).
if we order a scarlet what is the lead time to get one?
hope someone can enlighten us.
as for faq and support , i called red in the UK but they seemed a bit bored with my questions exept no on the analog signal..
sorry but that was the feeling i got..
