Hi. I was wondering if someone would be able to help out with a question I have about the Red One and provide some solutions hopefully.

I wan't to purchase a Red ONE or one of the new models that will be released soon but I have no idea about all the different options and configurations for the Red. I was initially thinking to purchase a Sony HD camera and than realised, wait a second... RED is top of the line and thought I should seek a solution that is hopefully within my budget of around 4500 USD which is roughly 6200 AUD. I really want a RED for business use to just record in HD 1080p and be used for in recording for small commercials for online use (record advertisements for web videos), record interviews and be able to record HD of landmarks in Australia to be used online.

I really don't know the configurations I should be looking for or to keep within my budget. But what I would ideally want is to be able to have it as a shoulder mountable camera with integrated tripod usage, long lasting battery option and high capacity record disk.

I heard that the newer models RED will be aimed to be cheaper to be within my budget range?

regarding the price there are not so many options for you.
The scarlet with fix lens as mentioned above will likely be the only possiblity.
Though being a good solution, don't forget you need mony for the computer, most likely a decent laptop and probably a workstation too.
then there's the endless world of RED options, which I am not familiar with for the scarlet, but it is a ton for the RED ONE.
I have spent approx. 2/3 of the RED invest additionally in accessories, so don't underestimate your desire for additional "productivity enhancement".
Don't forget legs, frction head etc - there is another ton waiting elsewhere to be invested too.
Don't get me wrong, do your thing.
The Scarlet will be a proper tool.
But make the math about mattebox, legs, head, 1 or 2 filters, followfocus, exchangeable media (CF cards or Expressmedia), "transfer and edit station" etc.
When you did that, you see that the camera has alternatives too.
Guess SxS media or KxS, MxS etc...
