So I have a Scarlet Dragon that I've been using for awhile. My workflow would be to directly import the files into final cut and work off the r3d files there. Im hearing about these A.D.D. and D.E.B. features in red cine x and I'm curious about them

Can I apply these and still work in raw? I don't wanna loose information before color grading. Whats the best workflow for me being someone that works with 5k footage trying to edit completely in final cut and grade with Color finale.

Tyler,

I understand ADD is for improving still images and is so processing intensive it is not practical for motion work. I have never used it and suspect you can ignore it for motion work. DEB was designed to remove the red sparkle noise you could see in underexposed Dragon sensor footage. This is a worthwhile setting if your footage is on thin side of exposure. It seems to have little impact on processing speed. The question is does DEB offer anything of value to MX, Helium or Monstro footage? Anyone tested this?

D.E.B. does absolutely nothing, at least on my Red Scarlet MX in Resolve.
