NEED HELP ! Unable to use 3rd party battery on DSMC2 I/O expander On Weapon

Hi,
I am unable to use third party battery on DMSC2 RED WEAPON using the V--lock I/O expander.
I have all kinds of V-lock baterries, lots of know brand. They always worked on Epic Dragon, none of them would work now.
When I start the camera I always get an auto-shutdown message.

PLEASE HELP I SHOOT TOMORROW !

make sure you are on the latest firmware. This was an issue a while back, but Red fixed it. All my non-Red "Dumb" batteries work.

Do you have any Red colleagues that have DSMC2 setup and can test your V-lock I/O expander? Does it work with the power plugged into the wall? If your expander is faulty, you might wanna see if you can rent one from your neighbouring red owners.

The expender is working plugged in. Unfortunatly, no one has the weapon around to try it.

Double check that the star switch selector is set correctly (top of V-Lock I/O Expander).

It works now! Thanks for all your valuable informations guys. It seems that the lastest firmware upgrade made it work.
