Thing is I didnt use background rendering at all...CPU and GPU were smooth enough and I didnt want to waste disk space. Maybe ill try enabling background rendering prior to export idk. Still for FCP X its looking like RCX will be used to transcode everything to ProRes4444 when I shoot on RED for real usage....luckily I find the codec to be one of the greatest editing codecs ever and since its 12-bit I'm not loosing as much color information as with DNxHD which doesn't even officially support resolutions like 4K! Maybe CineFormRAW?
