Need good Projector for Studio 4K/2K/1080p

[Kyle Gentz]

Im looking at projectors for our Studio. Can someone direct me to some good options? Id like 4K, 2K and 1080p options to give.

Preferably a wide lens.

What's your budget range, Kyle? .... that may have some bearing on recommendations .... also, how big a screen and DI theater do you have? ... what's the throw from back wall to the screen?

I was tasked with out a budget. They will want a wide range im sure. I figured it would be 2K to 50K range. Its a small room. 25foot by 40foot room. Dont have a screen yet. Im looking to get this all priced out. Id like to the projector to be mounted to the celling. 15-20 feet for throw.

You might think about waiting on this till RED provides more details about their 4k projector.

Good point. Maybe ill perpose a cheaper temporary solution and wait for RED's 4K.
