Hi everyone, This is my first post on reduser.net! I have searched the forums and external links to no avail. Here is what I need and the reason behind it. What I need: HD or 2K image sequences of both MX and non-MX cameras. These sequences need to have motion - a nodal pan is not good enough. The camera has to move, travel, dolly, anything that will be fast enough to notice the rolling shutter effect. From the forum, I understand that the non-MX camera has a read/reset time of about 9 ms and the newer MX one has about 5 ms read/reset time. [The mxwalk from OFFHOLLYWOOD (http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=40202) at time 00:40 or 01:10 would be the kind of shots I'm looking for.] Why I need it: I work at a facility and deal with the technical aspect of post production, in the 3D area. I never had to work with RED footage before but the possibility is increasing by the day. I need this footage to test a new feature that deals with rolling shutter in a camera tracking software (also called matchmoving). I understand that the MX type would be similar to film which has a read/reset time ressembling 4 ms but I nevertheless would like to have both MX and non-MX to quantify my work. Thank you in advance.
