Hey Guys.. thought Id just shoot this out there and see if anyone is selling.

I need An ND set, and a Pola (I have a redrock mb.. dont know if the circle stage is out yet.. anyone?)

heres what I need 4x5 - 3, 6 , 9 , 12
I can do without the 3 if need be.

I am also interested in a 6 grad (vert grad)
might be interested in a 9 (vert grad)

I rarely stack above a 12 (ill just stop the difference down)
so im not sure if I need a IR.. but if you have it, and its a good deal, what the hell.

or if anyone knows a good deal for a set (new or used) please let me know.

fyi:
i just bought 4x5.65 formatt's .3, .6, .9 ND, 1.2 IRND, and hot mirror set from AbelCine, new for ~$900+
bought a 5.65x5.65 1stop linear pola from filmtools for $391
haven't seen RR circle stage and got their 5.65x5.65 extended tray

hope this helps.

went to able.. but some of the filters didnt have a buy now button next to them, so went to film tools.. got a schneider kit .9 1.2 1.5 and tru cut ir filter set for $600 bucks!
normally $916.00. I have a .6 but its an 85... so now i just need a good .6 or a 2 stop linear pola, and ill be good to go

Done that quite a few times myself. Abel really needs to update their website to show all products available and to put prices with buy now buttons.

Does anyone know if the Schneider IR cut is coated on both sides? I've had problems with reflections using the Redrock hot mirror which is coated on both sides. Am I correct in assuming this would be less of an issue with a filter coated on one side only?

Sean-

i rarely use the ir filter.. how do you guys stack? IR behind the ND right?

IR always first (outermost). It is reflective, not absorbing. so if you stick it in the light path you will end up with very interesting internal reflections, which are not always desired :)
