I'm about to buy a new housing fro my Monstro and I'm wondering what's the best housing to go buy it, I have previously used Nauticam and I love them, but here are a couple things I see.

Gates: https://www.gateshousings.com/pro-explore/

Pros:
- Cheaper
- Compatible with more PL lenses.

Cons:
- Depth limited to 60M
- Need Redmote
- No Hydrophone option.
- Need to buy extra red accessories.

Nauticam: https://www.nauticam.com/products/nauticam-weapon-lt-housing-for-red-dsmc2-camera-system-n120-port

Pros:
- Depth Rating 100M
- Hydrophone Option
- No need to buy extra accessories to control the red.

Cons:
- Limited Lens Support
- Pricing ($25k)

As you guys can see this is a huge investment for me, and I want the best option to go out and capture the best image possible underwater. I wanted to know what are your thoughts or experience with this ones.

Thanks!

will the Monstro not fit your Nauticam housing?

Rodrigo,

I'd suggest asking the guys in the "Bubble Blower" thread. Just do a search for it, you can't miss it. There's a lot of experience there and I'm pretty sure some of those guys will even take a call if you wanted to speak to them directly.

Hope that helps!

I think you got your housings mixed up somewhere, no redmote in gates for DSMC2 as far as I have seen, though could be wrong. I would go with Nauticam. Love their housings, very well thought out and smaller, they can also take PL lens though a 120 to 200mm port change.
