The Vazen 40mm is now available in Canon RF mount. It is able to cover full height of the Komodo sensor at the 6k mode. After 1.8x desqueeze, vignetting will be cropped at 2.39:1. Price: $3,250/pc

Do you know if the mounts are interchangeable? If someone has the MFT version can they just order the RF mount?

Looking forward to a set! I do hope they make a small lightweight wide lens as well using that expired Panavision design the 28mm is based on.

I know the 28mm doesn't quite cover but maybe they can modify.

Just rented the 40mm RF, the menu system on the Komodo is pretty basic but am I missing something in regards to desqueezing the way previous RED cameras do? Right now am able to desqueeze on SmallHD monitor, but it means desqueezing in post, is that the current workflow? red.com seems to be down atm so can't access the operation guide.

Correct, as of right now, there is no in-camera de-squeeze. You'd have to de-squeeze on your monitor during filming, then in post (de-squeeze & crop).

Thank you Ivan for the clarification! In my experience with shooting Anamorphic, there's always some extra step or twenty to take, but it's always worth it!!
