  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NASA Dragon on Dragon ready for launch to the International Space Station

Were they able to land the boosters?

I heard it was 'unsuccessful', due to a rather hard landing.

That's unfortunate. When they get that right, that will change everything... for a while, anyway.

I keep reading reports that there is an IMAX camera on board.
Are they confusing the Dragon camera with IMAX or is there a a second IMAX camera as part of the cargo?

On the SpaceX mission before this one the IMAX corporation paid for a few Canon cameras and lenses to be sent up to shoot a production called A Perfect Planet.

Probably referring to Canon C500 and still cameras that James Neihouse sent up.

If you have not already, follow one of the astronauts on the ISS (http://instagram.com/astro_terry). Not only does he have some amazing shots of Earth from space, his last post is him opening up the Dragon (the spacecraft that contains the camera of the same name, haha).

NASA's SpaceX Crew-1 mission to the International Space Station is now scheduled to begin work in mid-November to give SpaceX more time to complete hardware testing and data analysis as the company takes into account the unusual behavior of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle during its recent launch attempt.
