  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB13- Dragon Sensor Upgrade Program begins

I going to hold off until I see some footage. $10K is a bunch to spend without seeing an independent A/B or having the color science worked out. I'm sure it will all be fine but prepaying $10K and getting an unknown camera back is a bit much just now. Epic works great as is - just need to see the difference in image quality, DR and color to make an informed decision. Guess I'll be a late adopter again ;-)

I didn't think this was happening so early. So in a week we'll be seeing Dragon footage online?

Hey Red team, congratulations on the announcements. I noticed that the Dragon FAQ mentioned a Scarlet upgraded to Epic (MX or Dragon) would still have some grey parts on the body. Any chance we can pay extra to get those changed over to Epic black? Thanks!

Wow, Epic-X (MX) is now $17,500 come full circle!

Now:
(forgive me, I couldn't resist the irony considering its capture device)

Yes there will be 6K anamorphic.. sorry will add that to the chart when we can find a break.

Scarlet update?

Ordered timestamped at 11.00

Would have been sooner but for the website insisting on credit card info that wasn't at hand, despite no money being needed...

I wonder how fast these are going to roll out?
