I remember when we started RED you could count the number of digital “cinema" cameras on the market on one hand.. and still have some fingers left over.

Walking around the show floor this year, its pretty clear things have changed.

As a customer, the freedom of choice just gets more and more complicated. But the one thing that is clear - our dedication and commitment to make the best cameras and sensors on the planet seems to be more important than ever.

The DRAGON continues to be the highest resolution camera with the most dynamic range in the smallest form factor, and now with DRAGONcolor it is also the camera with the best color science, all while shooting to the incredibly powerful, unbeatable REDCODE RAW. It is ONE camera that can do it all… and do it all incredibly well.

Right now our number one priority is taking care of our customers - and at the top of that list is getting Dragons into all of your hands.

We have a lot of great stuff to announce tonight but the biggest news is not the promise of the future, but the promise of today.

We are guilty of making you wait. And wait and wait and wait. And then wait some more. Taming the Dragon was truly the hardest thing we ever have done.

Now that we have, we just can’t seem to make them fast enough.

In the past few weeks we have wrestled with throwing out the stage process, narrowing the upgrade windows and/or bumping people that didn’t react quickly enough to upgrade notices.

We are not going to do any of that.

Instead, we are bringing in the reinforcements. Training an army to attack our manufacturing lines. It will take a bit to get everything in place... and it will cost us a hefty equipment investment to complete, but its going to allow us to get cameras out in record numbers, which means Dragons, both upgrades and new orders, will get in your hands sooner rather than later.

You guys have been the best customers a company could ever wish for.

In the end, that is all that really matters.

Thank you for choosing RED.

Now on to the fun stuff….

So excited!!! Reminds me of the "old" days! (Taps refresh like junkie!)

Nice

Boom!

Woohoo! Love you guys. There will always be hiccups but we all know red's true color ;) looking forward to another great NAB. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at the booth.

And it begins.

Thank you Jarred for the well chosen words!
And thank you for being RED!

Too good to be with you;)

the wind is rising, and there will be a storm tonight :)
Nice to be undercover DRAGON;)

We are waiting for news FIRE CHIEF;)

I´m getting excited. Can´t wait to have a Dragon in our hands. DragonColor too.

Jarred, Jannard, and the whole RED Team, I truly thank you all!
I don't mind waiting for Dragon, as I know manufacturing, testing, making new Color Science, New OLPF, etc, takes a lot of research and time to get it right, and as I wait for my spot, as others do, it's worth it, 6K and the best dynamic range available!
I'll always wait if it means getting an awesome product that works without the hassle!

Last Year before NAB 2013, I bought the Epic, I was warned to be careful of the bugs, but a year has passed, I shot over 130 hours, and I haven't faced a single problem! My camera has been amazing, and it still is, and I can't wait to get the Dragon sensor!

What really attracted me was the ability to upgrade my camera, you won me as a customer, and I thank you for that!

Best wishes in NAB 2014!
