Change is how cells are structured. Have heard that new config lasts longer - not sure if true or why.

My bomb squad rep would only state that the new RedMag is faster than the older 256gb version,. But no specifics and no comparative info with mini-mags. We'll just have to be patient for that to come from Red.

Only the older older older RED flash media from the earliest days could have used SLC. SLC flash memory hasn't been manufactured in significant quantities since around the time RED came to market with the RED ONE. Electronics are using MLC/TLC these days, even on the industrial side.

Whats the max. data rate can be written on Dragon? its 224 MB/s on 4:3 Arriraw and 250 MB/s on F65 8K..
