NAB 2009 Predictions...

I'm stoked about today's announcements but feel like moving on...is that cool?

Anyone care to place a wager on what Red will introduce at NAB in 2009? I'll put up $100 bucks to the first person that accurately predicts a currently unknown or unanticipated new product from Red. Can't be a modification of a current product like increased resolution RED or higher resolution EVF/LCD and can't be something obvious like an additional lens. Also, can't be something already predicted or mentioned in another thread on reduser.net as of today's date.

One year from now, we'll pull up this thread and see who was right. Anyone else care to add to the pot? Who knows, maybe this thread will be a source of inspiration H.G. Wells style.

I believe that 2009 will be all about 4K displays and projectors. Imagine a 4K projector for only $5000! How about a 40" LCD monitor for $3000?

But the real surprise will be: a RED Graphics Card for Mac & PC. Support of 4K realtime processing on your favorite NLE, and output to RED 4K monitors and projectors. $999. Summer '09.
