Sadly I'm selling or trading my wonderful MYT Velvet Nodal Head, possibly the smoothest, most controllable camera head I've ever owned due to an injury that says I need a lighter unit. If you don't know the Velvet it is a very unique design of non-fluid L-shaped nodal head, completely designed, machined and assembled by the big brains at MYT Works in New York. The camera movement is completely natural and very well balanced - right up to the 50lb weight capacity - and instead of stepped fluid compression it uses two compressible material units that provide an infinite adjustment of drag in each axis along with multiple mounting points for the handle. The technical details are all here https://store.mytworks.com/head-line/velvet-100mm-ball although my unit also has a billet camera plate and sliding plate mount.

The 100mm bowl can be switched for other options, and if you need something special the guys at MYT will make it for you. It weighs in at less than 15lbs and it's so flexible that really can take our fully kitted out RED with a big old zoom lens, or our long Sony F5 with the RAW back and battery, or a tiny A7Sii and operate just as well with any of them... and, of course, it perfectly ties in with any of the MYT pieces to make a simple rolling skate dolly or an 8 foot ladder dolly.

The unit with the fitted pelican case and all the bits you can get runs about $3,850. I'm selling my extremely lightly used and much treasured one for a lot less than this - but I'm really looking for a trade deal to one of the lighter O'Connor heads, ideally a used O'Connor 1030D or the like with a cash difference? (shipping and paypal fees on top of the quoted price)
