I need to know...

Is it pronounced R-Three-D files, or are the guys at RED so "cool on the internet slang" that it is simply read as RED files, since the 3 is an E?

:)

We say "R-Three-D" files.

Ok then...

Ok then...

Ok!

Was just a fun question to know the answer of :)

So what's so 3D about them?

It's a stupid thread I know but it's just for fun... nothing serious.

For me it would be more "cool" if the 3 were an E... so simply RED.

The Three is an E, but the format is pronounced R-Three-Dee, rather than RED. As for 3D, there's 2 spatial dimensions and time, making three in total.

There is nowhere else on the Internet you could ask a question like that and get a sensible answer. Is that a good or bad thing?

And I gave a sensible answer? :-)
