  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My Serial #!!!!

lol! I haven't even checked where it places me in line, but it makes me feel... validated... or something! lol.

Yeah. . . I felt better, too. . . 2120. . . still a long way off, but I'm feeling better about my feature this summer.

Ahhhhhhhhh. . . .

Now, if they could just get those puppies headin' out the door again!

i got redcine and my serial number.

wow.....1689 here...I was totally shocked! I swear that my would be around 2200 (ordered wed of NAB) but am very happy as now I should be getting my camera the first week of march instead of almost april.

Matthew

change your profile , no 1982, you are closer than this

EDIT/ you are fast

Well, as it seems you all already have noticed, your camera serial numbers are being blasted via email to you as we speak. If the email address you placed the order under is no longer valid, be sure to email us at orders@red.com and we will get your email address updated and provide your serial number. There are a ton of emails going out right now, so give us until the end of today to receive your email before you ask "What's my serial number???"

Thanks for everyone's patience in getting these to you and this should help limit the "When am I getting my camera?" emails :)

Actually this too has been updated. See Jannard's post on 10/24 here. But essentially here is what Jannard said:

We made the decision today to hold production so we have the fewest amount of cameras to retrofit. I do not have a new confirmed schedule, but will post one as soon as we know exactly where we stand. It is most likely that 101-200 will begin shipping November 30th and 201-600 will begin shipping December 10th.

So unless something changes again, this was the most current schedule update I could find. Adjust accordingly based on your serial number...

Thanks jing for getting the ball rolling.

To quote Navin Johnson:

"The new phonebooks are here! The new phonebooks are here! I'm SOMEBODY now!" :)

yes these numbers are all surprisingly low. I was really thinking maybe I was in the 4000+.
