My Scarlet shoots 4K 30fps

So I'm playing with my Scarlet, switched over to 4k (not 4kHD) and change my frame rate over to 30fps, it turns yellow but when I hit recored its stays on 30fps. When I pull it into redcine-X it show in the meta data 4096 x 2160 fps at 29.976, 8:1 compression. Was this an update in the 3.0 firmware? according to the compression chart that was posted when Scarlet was announced it says 25fps is the max at 4K. Just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this

Mine has had 30fps at 4K since I got it...
Think it was firmware version 2 back then?
