OK so I have been using my REDMote and its been working fine up until recently... It seems to lose connection randomly no matter how close I am to the Scarlet. Even Docking sometimes doesn't wanna pick up... It's out of warranty, is there anything I can do?? It didn't use to do this until a few days ago.

The only thing different thats happened is that the battery ran dead on it and I had to fully re-charge it. A day or 2 after that, thats when I've been having the problems... Is this normal?:banghead:

Help!

I'd go through the obvious steps of re-installing firmware and re-setting things. See if it works OK while attached. Maybe even try it with another camera if you can get with a friend.

If all else fails, you're going to have to open a ticket with RED and see what's up.

Like Terry mentioned, reinstall firmware. If you attach the redmote with a previous version of firmware, you can actually update that redmote via the camera once it's connected. Says it can take up to 30 minutes, mine only takes about 10. Works like a charm, especially for those that can't update their firmware via computer/connectivity issues (I'm one of those) hehe.

The Redmote is a finicky beast, used to be anyways, if you let the battery drain completely, you'd have to send it back to Red.

Rule # 1, never drain the battery completely.
