  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

my POCKET CINEMA rig

As a matter of fact E. it was you and Bruce that got my attention on this little gem and made me realise the potential. I will do my due diligence and start making calls to the various manufacturers. Now, I a yen for the Brazilians, please give us a link I would love to check it out.
Bruce is actually a real nice guy, very indie indeed. One of us. Here's the link:

Lovely forum.

Hi ,Filmmaker's gang

PS [ new one ;-) ] to Andrew

PS [ new one ;-) ] to Andrew

Send a PM to rawfa @dvxuser.com -- he's a nice good fellow* and very knowledge on these rigs. He already had Letus, M2 and Brevis (his choice).

* El señor (he's still waiting for his nick @dvxuser.com so if you Jarred will read this, leave there the add-on -- he deserves it! Half brazilian, half portuguese (actually, cousin of a former teacher of mine and filmmaker too, former Jean Renoir's assistant -- go figure! His cousin's name is Paulo Rocha [ LINK ] The world is actually a small place!)

What's the low lighting performance? Same thing?

sorry my bad english :innocent:
:) Welcome aboard! ;-)

BTW Bruce, I was replying to Emanuel and just saw this!

Andrew - I have a brand-new SGpro r3 (as well as Nikon lenses, a HV20, a Zacuto shoulder mount system and a 1.2K HMI ;). I already offered everything I own to the LART. Was denied. If you need any of my stuff, PM me. You may borrow it with pleasure.

Bruce,

I remember the offer and Gibby greatly appreciated it, but he has been inundated with all kinds of gear and goodwill... it was probably a matter of where to plug it into the process and keep up with it to make sure it is safe and cared for properly.

Bruce, this is awesome, I am smiling from ear to ear right now! This is huge and of course you will be fully credited at every opportunity. The other great thing is... I get to meet you and hang out a little! Haha... Also, what a great list of gear, I have been following the various forums and posts about the very thoughtful and logical process that led you to get this great gear.

I hope to get into LA a few days before the LART so I can shoot some very specific elements for the bts docco --ie, tabletop footage of all the various lenses (and other gear) being donated so everyone can get a good look from noob to pro on everything that is being used and how it is being implemented into RED's system of modularity. Plus many more things...

Bruce, you are a saviour and a godsend sir, I need to get to sleep soon but I will pm you shortly. You have my sincere thanks from me and everyone associated w/ LART.

Cheers -- Andrew

yes, very good in low light situations !

with HV20 much better..;)
Much better with HV20? Why? How much light you lose?

By the way, where do you accessorize it? How much?

Your impression on both Robert?

M2 vs. this hungarian adapter (sorry but I don't remember yet the name)

and BTW, HV20 vs. HV10 -- isn't it the same thing grosso modo? Although I'm talking about losses from the adapters themselves, not between different camcorder models...

Hey Robert (aka Suta)

Sorry for semi highjacking your thread, but what can I say other than that your cool rig and demo inspired me to speak up and get moving. Thank you for the great info!

Andrew

Robert, knowing filmmaker's gang I bet he's trying to refer about your ladies friends...

On the other subject and also asked for the same poster, is there any chance for cine lenses mounts like those previously referred (PL and OCT19) ?
