My iMac/Macbook pro does not recognize mini mag.

Hi,

Both my iMac and my Macbook pro does not recognize my mini mag. Have tested with a Macbook air and it had no issues mounting and seeing the files..


I have had some issues with my sidehandle so when i first got the camera i tried to format the card on both macs without success. Prior to formatting in camera.
I remember being in the terminal almost trying to format the mag with a code, but i never did.

Now i have a new sidehandle and have formatted the mini mag in camera, still no go on my computers.


Anyone have an idea what i can do? do not want to format them both.

What OS? Have you tried powering the card Reader?

Sierra 10.12.2 - yes i have... no luck.

Strange that it works on the macbook air?

Aaah, the macbook air have not updated to Sierra yet...

Ok, problem half solved..

Used my thunderbolt to esata adapter together with the power cord and it works.

Anybody have an idea? i tried using a different usb3 cable and same thing happened.
