My Girlfriend says, "The Sopranos looks old ..."

[Peter Hodgins]

She says the film looks like it has aged (watching a TV broadcast)... I say it is film transfered to video .. what's going on anyway .... is she right ... does it look old .... what was the process involved to "air" the Sopranos .... has the video aged?

If I get 500 views and no replies, I'm gonna tell her that the consensus is that she's nuts!

Videotape ages like anything else, but either she's reacting to the quality of the telecine & recording technology of the early seasons, or the vaguely 1970's style of the cinematography.
