hi, I wanted to share some snaps from a short film I shot about a week ago.
It was low low low budget, and was shot over just two days.
All the crew finished film class at the Thelma Yellin high school for art just one month ago.

enjoy :)

I did some slight color grading in redcine and photoshop but it's just temporary..

thanks guys :)
I hope the footage will be available for upload in a few weeks.
maybe I'll upload a trailer even soon..

we used a set of LOMO lenses that are great!
I used the same ones on another film with a DVX and a 35mm converter.
you can see the result here

Looks incredible. Really cool to see someone else in high school using the Red. I just shot a project on Red (still editing), but I will tell you right now it doesn't look anywhere near as good as those grabs... The lighting on those shots are simply gorgeous. Can't wait to see the actual movie!

These are the results you guys are getting only after one HS filmmaking class?? What the hell am I doing at University? :blush2:

Seriously, they look fabulous.

Thanks again everyone!
I'll try to upload some footage as soon as possible, but right now I'm not much at home so it may take some time.. sorry..

Craig, the film class is really 4 years of film studies combined with regular studies like math, science, English, etc.. I'm now searching for a university. any suggestions? ;)
