  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My First Red One Demo Reel - Vigen Vartanov

yes! keep the cliff jump! amazing shot!

shorten your reel overall. i think it would sit better at about 1:20. take out some of the shots that are clearly in the same location as other ones and only use the best from that location.

also some of the shots could use a little colour timing. i saw some washy blacks here and there that you'd do well to fix if possible.

and change the music! that's some really amateur music.

good reel though. looks like you have talent.
 
Very impressive. I'm so amazed at how this reel came together. How did you combine the expressive nature of the music with the beauty from behind the lens? Blown away. Thanks for sharing.
 
Really good job, looks super well done. Why did you decide to show the first clip (motorcycle) again at the end? It's okay, but maybe another shot from that scene would work better than the exact shot again. Regardless, very well done! :-)
 
Really nice stuff! And I would keep the water droplet shot...(also, sorry Martin) the water on the lens takes you into the action (environment) even before you know what's happening...then it pays off...nice.
