My First Music video Project with RED MX

Hello Guys, Here is my first music video shot with my beloved RED MX, Used some CG & Compositing on the shots. Used Red 18-50 lense, some shots are point in shoot. the Singer chroma was shot in Canada used C300 camera. Other scene with CG shot in Kabul - Afghanistan Color grading done in RED CINE X & AE. The Graphic , CG , Compositing done in after effects. 3D Graphic done is 3Ds max with scanline rendering. All by ME :001_cool:

Something very odd about the whole thing.. maybe it's just me but I don't dig the CG and the grading in this clip

Okay while I can only imagine how great Jack's comments made you feel (A little positive re-enforement would not be a bad thing Jack).

Let me give you my opinion:

First off your visuals are STUNNING.. VERY VERY nice work.
I cannot comment on the "content" too much cause I don't understand the song.

You are taking the camera far and you have a lot to be proud of.

Now then, for me.. The video does lack a certain flow going from shot to shot. You might want to think about ways to tie it all together better.. Think if is as a tapestry.

If this is your 1st music video you should be nothing but proud of yourself.. You have an amazing tool set, and it's only going to get better with time.

I think it is great! You should be proud. It might benefit from a color grade done by a professional specialist which is like the mastering process of a song. It helps all the components "gel" together.

Thanks & Yeah Josh u are right, I have difficulty with color grading & matching the shots, I mean when i do color correcting i choose different color for the shots, So Sometimes i color correct 2 different location & scene with 2 different color grading. is this method is ok !? :confused1:
I just want to get better with time. Trying...
