Here's a reel of clips from our first game. Let me know what you think and how I can improve!

I shot 4KHD, 120fps, 1/240 shutter, 800-1280 ISO, 10:1, canon 70-200mm f/2.8

Hi John,

Some nice moments in there. My points are mainly about the editing rather than shooting. Way too much there. Very hard to watch slow motion of inherently benign events. Cut it down and just use the most interesting moments, not full shots. Other than that, maybe more variety, ECUs of player's expressions and communication.

Good job, enjoy!

Hey John, what music did you use on the reel footage?

I like what you captured, but would make an effort at color correcting the epic footage, especially at the beginning of the actual edited footage. There's a magenta tint all over it. Also, I'd try to pull a higher contrast grade off of the EPIC game footage. You've captured some dramatic moments in there, it'd be nice to see a great color grade on it!

I'm working on it trying to get a good look for my final video at the end of the season. Did you see the first reel? I corrected more accurately on that one. At least I think it looks more accurate and no longer has the magenta tint.

The song is Angels and Airwaves - The Score Evolved

John,

I like the field level POV and 120 fps. I might have tried a more dynamic look with maybe a higher contrast. Thats just my taste.

Nice job.
