My only question is what do I do when my touch screen decides to take a crap on a job and I don't have the REDmote? I would like some sort of back up hardwire for those "oh shit" days..

.....better just GET a redmote----no two ways about it....I had an LCD take a crap and RED immediately took care of it.....AND had me a loaner. BUT, had i been on a shoot (usually on a boat or island or far from civiization) the redmote is my ONLY fix for that...i carry three LCD's,but only one is the touchscreen....and redmote is usually all i use anyway. But if one of them goes....you have 5" touch or redmote as backup.

Thanks Jeffrey! Now I actually know how to use the thing! I shot all that with no "LOOK" and I was like, OMG, WTF! hahaha then I played with RCX and said, AHHHHHHHHH!!!

Nice shots. From what I've seen, 300fps water shots look great. I shot some tests with a lot of trees and leaves in the bakground and it was very noisy and had lots of artifacts. I've heard others experience the same
Unfortunately our Epic showed some weird purple pixels in highlights and RED asked us to send it back after seeing some frame grabs. It was painful to send it back after plying with it for only 2 days. It's such an amazing camera
