  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Nice! What equipment, such as lighting, did you use in making the commercial?
 
Pictures are fine, audio is horrible. All of that was (and is) fixable.

My advice would've been to do wild lines on all the dialog, and just take the actresses off to the side to a very quiet room, line it with sound blankets, and do four or five takes on every line. Have a dialog editor replace all those lines, and then drop in controlled stereo ambience of a mall. Would've sounded five times better.

I also think the depth of field could've been narrower, but that's a creative choice. Decent color and levels throughout.
 
You are 100% right about the audio, :) Also next time I'm going to do boom on channel 1, lav on channel 2.
The funny thing is we got the clear sound, it was never used, turnaround time was 24 hours with 3 other projects :)
