I did transcoding of RED files through the Red Rocket but some files give errors when importing in AVID. We tried to transcode again but with the same problem. The error message is:

PMM_INSUFFICIENT_MEDIA() Player version of frame duration is longer than actual [505] (504)

We can work around the problem by trimming the media one frame but it we are not sure if this could give problems down the road.

Anybody?

Which version are you using to transcode?

setting an out point should be fine. I believe this is related to something in the Avid SDK that was fixed a while back.

Hi Deanan,

Using RocketCine-X and not setting any outpoint, just straight transcode. Only some files have this, no obvious difference with other files.

I'd recommend going to redcine-x. Alot of improvements have been made to redcinex that should have fixed this.
