  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I've tried to export using MXF in RedcineX using a few of the different builds (including 221), with no luck on any of them. I either get an error, or no error and just no file created. How do I get this to work?

Thanks.

put all your clips on the timeline, then click on one of that. you get a yellow frame around it, then you press cmd-A that all are selected. in the export box you choose Timeline (selected clips) then generate a new export preset...
be sure you have there File Format at Avid AAF & MXF, setup the right codec according to what you want and on what framerate you shoot....
then choose output to selected folder.... give it a destination....
deactivate overwrite existing files.... probably you need to activate SMPTE range....
press ok...
your preset must be yellow highlighted.....
then click on export....

tell us what happens......

best,
rainer
