I am considering buying a 2nd hand Red here in the UK, but can't contact the seller or RED until Monday, and i'm finding it nigh on impossible to find out any official details about the MX upgrade plan, other than obviously the thread on this forum.
Basically how does it work in terms of waiting list, time etc..? all i know about the camera is that the serial number is in the late 1000's, and was delivered early 2008, does any of that make a difference, or is the upgrade done a first come first serve basis? IPeople with newer cameras have had the upgrade done, but would this camera have any priority if sent in for the sensor upgrade? Or should i just buy a brand new unit?
Can you get the upgrade done at Pinewood? or does it HAVE to be sent to the US?
