MX Support in Final Cut Pro

Any idea when we should expect M-X support to come to Final Cut Pro? Or are we going to be able to edit with the proxy files like we currently do with M footage?

Neil from HDI posted elsewhere on Reduser that he had graded the ASC M-X reel on a beta plugin supplied by RED. It was unstable, and if memory serves (it was in a thread called 'thoughts on Color') the new codec and installer were both incomplete. I'd imagine that an update from Apple is also required if FLUT™ is to be incorporated, but it sounds as if that's not necessary to see a big improvement.
