They are already up to around R1 #3000, so if you haven't received an email, you probably want to contact RED.

Once again - the serial number has no meaning. It's the delivery date, so if you were sitting on the fence for a long time then you might now have gotten the e-mail yet.

Just to give you an idea, we just got back 2110. The camera was paid for as soon as we received notice.

After existing Red One owners have been given the opportunity to participate in the MX upgrade program.

I know Robert, thanks, but any estimation from Red would be cool.
Epics on their way, but need some more cams asap and hate to look at a different system in the meantime and don't like to sent them back for update shortly after I've received them.

this has been discussed several times, Red has no way of giving a prediction, as they simply are too many variables, but as far as I can see they are now moving much faster, and if they continue doing so with out any interruption and or unfortunate sudden luck of parts, it should not take too long IMO, only few more months.

The reason i'm asking is otherwise i would hate to have to purchase another system for shooting multicams. (which are more expensive and not that future proof off course
