Just about to shoot for the first time with the new MX sensor.

Trying to shoot 100fps 2K 16:9 Redcode 36 on Red Drive and got alot of dropped frames. Recorded around 40 seconds and dropped 400 frames.

Changed disc and rebooted the camera. Now everything is fine, Shooting without a problem.

Should i worry about the disc or did the camera just need a reboot?

Hi Anton,
did you use Prerecord? If yes, try again with RC28.
Anyway, to doublecheck disk is always a good idea.
Cheers,
Marc

Didn't use prerecord.

The camera just wanted a reboot, now everything works fine.

I can't say for certain, but it sounds like a RED DRIVE issue rather than the camera. A camera LOG file could tell us more.

Also max frame rate ( 115 - 120 fps ) 2K is an area of the Beta M and M-X firmware that we are investigating at the moment.

Ok, Good to know.

The disc worked fine after I formated it and got some really nice shoots yesterday. Today is a new day and a new shoot.
