  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Must Watch Douglas Trumbull Interview

Thanx for the links. Very interesting! :-)

One thing puzzels me though. Just a few years ago people was screaming for 24p/25p on their digital cameras to make them look more filmic - less like television. Now when they got it, many of the same people wants higher frame rates - witch makes it look like television.... :-p

He does like using the Epic. At least one of my cameras are usually up at his facility doing experiments.

Awesome Curran, im so envious!! He is my single greatest inspiration in filmmaking... I shot many Super 8mm movies with models while trying to replicate silent Running when I was a kid.

Doug is THE most generous-genuine-genius person I have ever met. I am forever grateful to call him a good personal friend!

We just need the rest of the filmmaking world to take notice and to get out of its 24p shells and take a damn chance on what he is working on! The worst thing to happen is a super kick ass Sci-Fi adventure film (silent running-esque awesome!) that will help revitalize his Directing career and push the cinematic industry forward! The film god's know we need it! Seriously though, I read the script and it will be an AMAZING film!!!

That's awesome Tim!!! I'm definitely going to mention you to Doug next time we chat ;)

That's because you totally rock Curran! Hope to be back up there in the next few months ;)
