Even with my quad 4 3ghz and 8gb of ram it crashes all the time when rendering out of Media encoder. I have rendered out of After f/x with the secret menu tweak and that works. Could be my BX2 board, but aside from that I love the workflow.

I think it is time for a quad i7.

A couple of suggestions for the Adobe team in case you missed them in the other release thread:

- Add a histogram and zoom control to the Source Settings window so we can see empirical data on the exposure to bring it right to the edge but not over, and also see a 1:1 portion to get precise colour in the metadata.

- Use the global background colour settings for the Adobe apps suite so that the Source Settings window keeps the same grey value as the rest of the app.

Red Cinex and CS 5 4k to Hd to SD workflow

Hello First of all its really dumb but i am unable to save a look on redcine x and unable to apply it . So i am using CS5 internal settings to make the look. How to do that. And second is when i am working on Red preset 1080p will i still get all the quality when i render , it seems i am getting the 4k footage to show black bands up and lower when i use 1080 p . So what aspect ratio should i be using during the shoot .

And third is how can i render my project in SD using same project in cs5

OK and fourth and last one question is which is lowest aperture lens for red
