just wanted to share a musicvideo I shot 2 month ago.
Shot it on Epic-X Monochrome.
I fell in love with that cam!

Nice!! What did you use to soften the skin tone shots?

I was asked several times...

Shot entirely with Red Primes, just handheld. Lit with 2 2k Arri Studios and one balloon light on a boom.

If you have enough light, what is the advantage to shoot with a mono camera , other than getting true 4K resolution ?

I love the Mono for the ability to get all bwshades. The sensor is panchromatic in every single pixel.
I shot bw before with Epic X, but what Monochrome could give me in terms of differnt shades of grey is amazing.
It reminds me on the good old film days. When I shot coloured stock and tweaked it in post to bw, it was different then shooting bw stock.
Tri-X was my favourite. And Epic Monochrome reminds me on it a lot.
