Music Video/Short Film - Shot on Scarlet w/ Leica R's

[Joseph Coleman]

Here is a music video/short film I shot with my scarlet. I used this project to start working out a Raw workflow. Edited R3d inside of Adobe Premiere > exported EDL to Speedgrade > exported 4k Photo Jpeg with Maximum quality and re-connected inside of Premiere for finishing touches > Exported 3k .mp4 with 50mb/s vbr 2 pass > uploaded to Youtube. I'm pretty happy with the results. Hope you enjoy.

Joey I watched this on FB.. It was awesome!! The grading was perfect.

Great job with everything! It looked great and I enjoyed the story. Only two constructive criticisms I have are: 1.) There were a few shots that looks like they were slowed down in post, which looks choppy. 2.) I feel like the cop could have given a better performance.

Thanks guys! For the shots at the end I went for a choppy feel. I didn't wan't to twixtor it or anything. And yes I wasn't to impressed with his performance either...

[Carlos Reyes]

Great job, love the leica look, I think it looks really good and helps me justify my Scarlet purchase, but my only comment is I just felt the characters were kinda empty, would have liked a little more back story or character development.

For right now I have the 28mm 2.8, 35mm 2.0 and 50mm 1.4. Soon I will be buying at 19mm 2.8 vII, and 80mm 1.4. I also plan on sending them into Duclos to have them put a cinemod on them.

Awesome,

Not the strongest performances, but very entertaining, I really enjoyed this.

Thanks
